The Royal Canadian Theatre Company, a registered charity in Surrey, offers Musical Theatre classes for kids between the ages of 7 and 12 in partnership with the Clayton Community Centre. Over 8 to 10 weeks of lessons, children explore acting, singing and dancing while building stage presence, confidence and teamwork in a supportive environment. Two talented performers lead the classes, which suit kids hoping to perform professionally as well as those who simply want to grow their skills. The company also runs a free Youth Mentorship Program that lets children and teens take part in real stage productions, and it produces an annual holiday pantomime.
