Essence of Dance is a South Surrey dance studio welcoming students from ages 3 to 18. Seven spacious studios with natural light and sprung floors host classes in Russian Ballet, AIDT Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acro, Modern, Musical Theatre and Tap. Families can choose recreational classes that build toward an onstage performance, an audition-based competitive youth company, or a pre professional half day program for serious students. Ballet and Jazz examinations are optional. The studio describes a personal, family-like atmosphere where students grow friendships, confidence and a passion for dance, and it has organized training trips and workshops with renowned dance companies.
