Pacificaires is a non-profit youth organization in Surrey that has offered dance and pageantry training since 1978. Children and teens ages 4 to 18 can join recreational or competitive dance classes, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, acro, hip-hop and musical theatre. Classes welcome all abilities, and non-competitive students perform in the year-end recital and community performances. Young people who want something different can try Color Guard, a visual performing art that mixes dance, drama, gymnastics and equipment work with flags and props. Mini, Junior and Senior groups are available, and competitive teams perform from February to April.
