Mi-Cher Dance Academy is a family-style, ballet-focused studio in South Surrey, founded in 1981. Children from age 3 can begin with the Mi-Cher Minis program, where first ballet classes are filled with stories and games, and parents are welcome to join in. Older dancers move through Royal Academy of Dance levels, from Pre-Primary and Primary to graded and vocational ballet, with optional exams. Lyrical and contemporary ballet classes add creative movement. The dance year runs from September to June and builds toward a story-based Year End Production performed live on a professional stage in June, where every class has a part.
