The Youth Arts Council of Surrey, known as YACOS, is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 with the mission of supporting young artists in Surrey. It welcomes young artists ages 13-21 who live in Surrey. Young artists who join receive a monthly magazine and newsletter with local arts events and opportunities. They also get the chance to have their work featured on social media and in the magazine. Fun events bring artists together to meet and collaborate with other artists, and there is the opportunity to become a Youth Arts Mentor. Arts Council of Surrey headquarters is located in the Newton Cultural Centre.
