UCMAS Surrey South
Overview
UCMAS Surrey South offers an after-school abacus and mental math program for children aged 5 to 13. Kids attend a weekly 2-hour class where they learn to calculate on a physical abacus and then picture it in their minds. The program aims to build faster arithmetic, sharper memory and stronger concentration that carry over into school subjects. Each level takes about 5 months, and the program includes the abacus tool, materials, progress tracking with parent updates, and access to international grading exams and competitions. Families can start with a free trial session before enrolling.
