Surrey Minor Hockey Association

Overview

Surrey Minor Hockey Association has spent more than five decades helping young athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and make lifelong friendships through hockey. Families can find a place for every player, from first-time skaters to elite players, with age-appropriate coaching that centers on teamwork and sportsmanship. Skill development sessions add extra ice time for skating, puck control, passing, shooting and game situations. Power skating instruction works on edge control, stride mechanics, acceleration, balance and agility. Small-area games bring more puck touches and quicker decisions. Prep Camps help players sharpen their skills and rebuild confidence after the off-season in a fun, high-energy environment at North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex.
