Surrey German Language School
Overview
Surrey German Language School offers Saturday morning German classes for children from preschool and kindergarten through Grade 12. Teachers help students read, write, understand and speak German, while also sharing the history and culture of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The curriculum follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and prepares students for internationally recognized certificates. Older students can work toward the Deutsches Sprachdiplom. Families join a community that celebrates German heritage traditions through events such as the St. Martin lantern parade, Nikolaus and a choir. Classes run from September until May as a non-profit school.
