Power Dance Convention

Overview

Power Dance Convention is a two day weekend dance event where young dancers learn from an all-star faculty. Each day includes five classes, and the curriculum can cover jazz, lyrical and contemporary, street jazz, hip hop, tap and ballroom, along with an audition class that teaches dancers how to audition in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Mini classes for ages 5 to 7 run on Saturday in 45 minute sessions designed for new young dancers. Junior, intermediate and senior levels are placed by age and years of training. The fall 2026 conventions take place in Calgary and Vancouver, with the Vancouver weekend at the Richmond Conference Centre.
