Newton Tennis Club
Overview
Newton Tennis Club runs the Young Aces Program, a junior development program offering tennis coaching for kids from beginners to advanced players, primarily ages 6 to 17. Certified coaches teach lessons at the club's facility in Newton Athletic Park, with a coach to student ratio of 1 to 6. Each session includes 16 one-hour lessons over a couple of months, with two lessons per week, one on a weekday evening and one on a weekend evening. Sessions run in spring, summer and fall. The club works with BC Tennis to develop tennis in kids and encourages social and competitive play in the Surrey community.
