Isshindo Martial Arts is a friendly neighbourhood dojo in Surrey where children learn karate and Brazilian jiu jitsu while getting fit and having fun. Kids can train in karate, jiu jitsu, or both, with evening classes held on weekdays. The training combines hardstyle and softstyle techniques and teaches self defense in a controlled and safe environment. Students develop discipline, respect and confidence, guided by values such as courage, honour and compassion. Parents describe a clean, welcoming space and an instructor who teaches kids with patience and passion. A free trial is available, and the dojo has been established since 2009.
