Highlands Early Learning Centre
Overview
Highlands Early Learning Centre has been educating children in North Vancouver for over 50 years, offering a play-based preschool program for 2- to 5-year-olds. Rooted in BC's Early Learning Framework, the curriculum is inquiry-based and flexible, supporting creativity, language and literacy, social skills, and problem solving at each child's own pace. Children enjoy regular music classes, an optional French add-on class, and outdoor education sessions at Murdo Frazer Park. The 3- and 4-year-old programs participate in BC's $10-a-Day ChildCareBC Program. A nurturing, inclusive community with experienced Early Childhood Educators.
