Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch @ Gabriel Farms Ltd.
Overview
Gabriel Farms in South Surrey, home of Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch, offers hands-on farm education for children. Summer Farm Camp runs weekly for ages 5 to 10, from 9am to 3pm, and a spring break camp welcomes ages 5 to 12. Children care for farm animals such as goats, sheep, ducks and chickens, learn about egg incubation, plant and harvest in the vegetable garden, and explore ponds, creeks and forests. Each week includes arts and crafts and cooking with food from the farm. Led by Farmer Shari, an early childhood educator, the camps give kids outdoor time away from electronic devices.
