Cloverdale Skating Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run club in Surrey that helps skaters grow through learn to skate, learn to train and learn to compete programs. Children can start in CanSkate from age 3, with PreCanskate recommended for the youngest beginners. Skaters with some experience can move into Junior STARSkate, a beginner figure skating program for ages 10 and over that covers edges, turns, jumps, spins and creative expression. Star Academy offers a pathway for skaters who want to train and compete. Programs follow Skate Canada guidance and focus on inclusion, good sportsmanship and building self-confidence.
