Beyond the Stage
Overview
Beyond the Stage is a theatre company in the Cloverdale area of Surrey for children and youth ages 4 to 16. Younger children join a creative drama program built on play, games, movement and storytelling. Ages 8 to 16 can be cast in the Play Performance Program, where every participant receives a significant role in a full non-musical production with props, custom costumes, lighting and makeup. Small class sizes help each actor be fully known and seen. The company also offers improv, one day workshops with guest instructors and summer camps. Led by an experienced educator, it is an inclusive, supportive space where every child belongs.
